"Willi" the mascot.
With our mascot Willi we try to call the peoples attention to the nordic world skiing championship. And Willi, the black-forest deer, does a good promoting job.
By the way the name Willi refers to the honorary member of the Mitteltal-Obertal sports club Willi Rothfuß who is well known all over germany as a pioneer of the disabled sport.
Until the start of the world championship in february 2003 Willi promotes the championship on numerous events. During the world championship of course Willi will be present at all events to support the athletes and to give the visitors a good going over.

Meanwhile Willi met a lot of prominent persons. The Paralympic Night at Düsseldorf and the Election of the german athlete of the year in Baden-Baden will stay in his memory for a long time.
