This
slogan from the holiday resort Baiersbronn hits the nail on the head. But the densely wooded community in Baden-Württemberg with its 1,100 km of trails is more than just an
eldorado for hikers. A countless range of offers allows each guest to plan a quite individual holiday. In addition to Baiersbronn, there is a choice of other districts spread over the
picturesque countryside.
The health resort Obertal-Buhlbach, an ideal little community on the Schwarzwaldhochstraße,
the scenic road that winds through the Black Forest, is characteristic for
the area surrounding Baiersbronn. Here, anyone looking for relaxation can
leave everyday life behind with a long hike through the Schliffkopf nature
reserve. Klosterreichenbach-Heselbach owes its name to the Benedictine monks,
who settled here as early as around 900 years ago. This health resort, with
its particularly good air, is not least known for its church concerts.
When gourmets hear the names Tonbach and Mitteltal, they automatically think of culinary delicacies (six gourmet stars in close proximity). Bordered by the four valleys of the Murg, the two communities offer their visitors a variety of (winter) sports opportunities in a low-traffic area. Röt-Schönegrund is a tranquil little haven in which the guest can quieten in harmony with nature. In Huzenbach, everything revolves around the legendary Huzenbacher See. It is the centre for all ardent water sports fans and the end of numerous trails. Water also plays a great role in Schwarzenberg, Schönmünzach and Schönmünz. Awarded the title Kneipp- und Luftkurort, the three districts are known for their therapies far beyond the region.
