»More than a world championship...« The opening ceremony is not only the beginning of the competitions for the disabled. It also kicks off the various side prgram which accompanies the entire games.
The winner ceremonies are part of an entertaining side program. Athletic performances such as jazzdance and professional gymnastics, variety shows, dancing and disco nights will guarantee an unforgettable atmosphere.
The Weißenbachhalle in Mitteltal will be the meeting point for athletes, volunteers and spectators every evening, as it already had been for the european championships in '93.
But the Weißenbachhalle is not the only place to feel world championship athmosphere. In front of the Weißenbachhalle will be the world championship village which also hosts the winners ceremonies. The world championship village opens at 6 pm and winners ceremony starts at 7.30.
